The Gate Paris

The Gate Paris is the French niche house Fady Adwan founded in 2015, registered formally in Paris in February 2016 with the Maison still operating from 66 Avenue des Champs-Élysées. Adwan is Palestinian-born and worked as a press photographer before perfumery, the catalogue traceable to a single childhood anecdote, a perfume bottle gifted by his father.

Pure Ouddiction for the soft daytime oud, Desert Caravan for the saffron-oud-amber evening, Sous les Nuages for the fresh-aromatic daytime. Six to eight hours, moderate to heavy sillage. Stocked at Khrisha with Melbourne in-store testing.
