Marc-Antoine Barrois Aldebaran is tuberose reinvented as something cool, metallic and faintly mentholated, the opposite of a sweet white floral.
The opening is tuberose rendered icy and rubbery, edged with a warm spike of paprika. Underneath, mate adds a green bitterness and tonka a milky sweetness, so the flower reads at once frightening and beautiful. As an Eau de Parfum it projects strongly and holds through a warm Australian evening, a soliflore that refuses to behave.
