Mancera Red Tobacco Intense is a saffron-led tobacco, lacquered red rather than sweetened. Saffron and cinnamon strike the opening with a dry, slightly leathered glow, bergamot lifting the spice before tobacco, leather and a thread of Bulgarian rose deepen the heart. The accord reads architectural, polished cedar and patchouli holding the structure as vanilla, amber and a soft musk extend the trail into a long, resinous drydown.
Within the Mancera line this is the dressed tobacco, the one cut for cooler weather and longer evenings. The spice profile sits closer to a Persian saffron than to gourmand vanilla, the leather worked rather than raw, the rose folded in for warmth instead of sweetness.
