Montale Fougeres Marine arrives like the cool hush of an Arabian horse at the edge of a desert evening, oud and lavender meeting cardamom in the air. Red thyme, cardamom and lavender lift the top aromatic and slightly bitter before patchouli, vetiver and rose deepen the heart into a smoky chypre-fougere chord. Leather, agarwood, ambergris and animal musk close the trail dense and quietly powerful.
This is the Montale fougere-oud for the customer who finds Black Aoud too rose-heavy and Oud Island too leather-forward. A unisex aromatic-fougere-oud suited to Australian autumn and winter wear, formal occasions, evening dressing and special wear. Eau de Parfum at twenty to twenty-five percent concentration, eight-plus hour longevity. Fougeres Marine is the regal lavender-oud of the Montale line.
